The level of paranoia about harmless toy drones is amazing, particularly when there are 300 million guns in the society but that's accepted as nothing to worry about.
It's about monitoring. There is nothing to cause a crash. Frankly, I don't care who monitors me as long as I am within the law... which I always strive to be.

I'm with you. They can watch me all they want. They're going to get awful bored watching me. And trust me; monitoring is pointless if action cannot be taken if needed.
Actually the source is Live Science and not Fox news If you read the article it said that The agency is hosting a Proposers Day on Sept. 26 for new technologies for the Aerial Dragnet program. I interpret this as they are a long way from being operational.
