Was supposed to deliver by Dec 1 and now changed to Jan 15. I really don't understand what the issues is and would like DJI to explain.
I'm glad we aren't seeing issues like the Karma and truly that would be much worse. But this is still pretty frustrating for this price and when I've called in to support to have them indicate very little in the way of helpful information.
Just to be sure -- it said it on your specific Orders information page in your account, correct? Not the page that people go to actually place an order for it.
Order was placed back in October. Either way, the rep was kind of rude from DJI when I called unfortunately and it made me hold on my purchase.
It looks like a great drone, but service I feel is important. And I have seen all the posts about ordering through DJI itself and won't be doing that either.
I have a second pre-order through Amazon and it says "arriving December 8-9" but now the release date has changed to January 15. Really getting old with constant delivery changes. I know it has been said hundreds of times before, but getting crazy. I'm not in a huge rush to get it or anything but a company of this size has this big of a screw up and more and more problems everyday with shipping is getting to be down right pathetic.
Just got off Amazon chat. The rep didn't seem to have a strong knowledge and simply said "if release date got pushed back that will probably affect all pre-orders".
I have a combo on direct dji order and used amazon(as seller) for a drone only order just in case they shipped quicker than DJI.
Decided to chat with Amazon further about this and this time the response, was that all orders have been pushed back even if you originally ordered when it had an earlier date. The representative said he put in a request for the manufacturer to give a better idea of release date, or what the situation actually is. Whatever that means.
