I'm running the vision app on an iPad mini, and when I run the ground station the maps don't populate. I'm connected to the quad and the Internet but all I get is a grid of squares. Can anybody help?

Tap the three folders at the top right of the screen, then satellite when you open the ground station screen

I did that but nothing. It switches between satellite hybrid and street but none of them show the map.

Did you save the map to the device?  This is what I get when I open the waypoint page.

can you get the satellite map when you search for it in google?

Yep I figured it out. Needed to cache the map before I switched the wifi over the phantom. Thanks everybody.

Maybe try to get the map while NOT connected to the Phantom.  Then after you get the map re-connect to the bird?  Is your iPad mini wifi only by any chance?
