I am wondering if I can just upgrade the P4 firmware plus each battery only, BUT leave the RC on the previous version. I wanted to wait with the RC upgrade to avoid potential problems that seem to be indicated by other users.

The P4 aircraft upgrade went smoothly and I have swapped in all of my 4 batteries to receive the battery firmware upgrade.

It will depend on what firmware is currently on the RC, but it may be possible.
