If you updated your P3S firmware via the SD card method, how would you know the remote was also updated?
In my case, only the app's software version version shows in app/settings/about, no FW versions are shown.
I had left my remote off when I updated my drone via the SD card so, if I leave the .bin file on the SD card, will the remote also get updated?

I would perfer all updating be complete before I fly the drone.

I also want to know this one...  could you find anything about this on official firmware release thread ??

The remote is updated directly by the network when you connect it, open the application and your phone or tablet is connected to the internet. There should be a warning that the remote control needs updating, and if you press, following the instructions is updated directly from the network.

It's recommended to upgrade it through APP.
While if you have upgraded aircraft successfully, then please do as idplabs mentioned, it will be ok.
