I noticed today that whenever I move my P4 up/down/side to side my green aircraft status indicators start flashing red. When the aircraft stops moving it goes back to flashing green. I get no indication of any problems on the GO app. My internal sensors all show normal. I see in the manual red lights point towards battery or IMU problems. My battery level was at ~3/4.

All my firmware is up to date except for the latest RC release. I'm one back on the RC. I use a Google Nexus 7 2013 tablet. It flys great.

Have others seen this? Have I just not noticed this in past flights?

Before upgrading the firmware, how about the led status?
It flashes slow, fast or alternatively?
Please try to cool off aircraft, then calibrate IMU in a very level surface once you turn it on, during the calibration, please do not move it.
If still the same case, please upload a short video for further evaluation.

I'll check, but perhaps it thinks you're calibrating the compass?

I meant to say my DJIGO app is one back. I'm at 2.8.1. The RC and quad are at 1.6.0 and 1.2.503.

I calibrated the IMU on a flat surface last night and will fly it today and watch the sequence of the red lights.

I'm flying at the time I see the green to red change. If I am hovering the lights are green. Only when I move around do they change to red. I told DJI Natilia I cal-ed the IMU last night and will try again this morning to watch the sequence of the flashing lights.

You are exactly right, Aardvark! I am near a small airport and on the outer edge of the restricted zone. A friend wanted to see my P4 fly, so I shut off the Geofence and flew it up to tree top level around my yard. He asked why the lights were blinking red. I said not really sure. I flew this morning away from the restricted zone and had green lights the whole time. Went back home, tried again in the back yard and the red lights came back.

This is an amazing flying machine. Waiting for snow to do some winter flights.
