My Phantom 2 has been shutting down randomly in mid flight and sometimes shortly after I turn on the motors to warm up. However, the battery lights just stay on. The led lights and the propellers shut down. Sometimes it will be just sitting there and I will be ready to take off and it will shut down (battery remains on) and then the led lights will start blinking again maybe 5 seconds later. But sometimes they just stay off. Here is a video of it happening. Keep in mind, the battery is full charge and remains on through out the whole shut down.

Any info on why this is happening and what I can do about it is greatly appreciated...

Did you record a video of the battery issue when the aircraft is on the ground?
How long did you used the battery for?

It is possible the battery connections are loose, dirty or not making proper contact. You might trying cleaning them.
