I'm in the US.  Will I need a converter to charge the drone's battery overseas?  What about the remote?

Yes, you may need a converter.
As for the remote, use the micro USB cable to charge it.

You will not need a converter for the voltage as the charger input is 110v to 250v, but you will need an adapter for your US 2 pin mains plug, depending on where you are going.
