The streaming is in the app.
The display cannot be removed from the RC, so if you want to use your own then don't purchase the +.

I was wondering if you could find out for sure if the shell backpack will take the new P4 pro + as it's a Lott of doe to spend if it doesn't fit! As the  other larger backpack is way too expensive,
Not to mention what I've already forked out for the Mavic and not sure when I will. receivce it :-(

Also just been on the DJI shop site and their is now no mension of the shipping times for the P4 pro + now as yesterday it stated within 2 weeks....do you know anything about this?

This may be a dumb question, however with the Phantom 4 pro Plus, can you use an IPad pro with the remote containing the display?  there may be cases when the small screen is a bit too small and I was wondering if I could augment with the ipad pro..   I would like the flexibility to use either the built in display or my ipad depending on the situation.. is that possible or too much to ask..

No it can't that's why I bought just remote, when monitor comes up for sale I will buy one so I can use with both, just means I will have to connect with USB .

Do you know what the shipping time is with the P4 Pro as it doesn't say on their website now!!!!! Just don't want to be in the same situation as I am with the Mavic

No ive been checking it, maybe the encyclopedia of dji Ken might have an idea, I use a iPad Pro 9.7 with my P4 at the moment which is very good, just the hassle of taking my phone out of cover and having it charged and all the rest, the monitor seems like a great option.

Yes it is a good option especially with the brighter screen....I also have I iPad Pro same size but a bit reluctant to cart that about as well

They say but you need to press next and on the page where you choose your model it still says 1-2 weeks....nothing changed yet.

Ken, can you confirm that the lower capacity batteries used with the "old" P4 will work in the new P4 Pro? It seems a little ambiguous .
I just want to be sure. Also, it looks like the capacity difference is 10%, so an old battery would last (at best) 27 minutes vs 30 for the new P4P battery. Is that about right??

I placed an order yesterday, but at that time I didn't notice any shipping estimated times.  I sent email to ask but have not heard back.  Just now I decided to see if it showed any times and I recreated my order from yesterday and got the info below in my cart.  It does say the items will be shipped separately although I ordered them together and gives 1-2 weeks for P4P+ and 3-5 weeks for extra batteries on the same order...

You can say that again.  I had a Mavic pro on order through Amazon (3rd Party) and it got canceled by Amazon for non-shipment on Tuesday morning.  Then DJI announces the P4P and I decided I got lucky that Mavic was delayed as I really want the camera on the P4P.
