Is this going to be an accessory for the Mavic as well? I can't seem to find any info whatsoever about this product.

It seems to be around $450. The P4 with the screen is $999 and without its $550. Sorry that is in Australian $$.

Works for me here in Canada! They are about the same.

I ordered my new P4P without the new screen as my iPhone 7 plus should be about the same size. Slight latency but not enough for me to worry about because I don't expect I'll be doing any photography at 40 MPH.

The brightness is the biggest factor.  The iPhone 7 will go to 600 - 700 nits and this monitor is saying is will produce 2000 nits.  At that brightness you wouldn't need a screen shield or have to find a shaded area.

Yes you are right. That is something to factor in if you have trouble viewing your iPhone 7 plus screen in daytime. So far I haven't had a problem viewing it in the day time. But time will tell.

I'm curious, being new to the world of DJI, would this also have some sort of cell service so you can have data for maps and such?
Reading more, I guess not.  So you'd have to either have wifi, a mobile hotspot or just cache maps before hand,  correct?

Nice screen! , and with the HDMI port for up to 4K video output, it will be perfect for connecting any type FPV goggles

The DJI site says "compatible through the USB port", so that tells me there's going to have to be some sort of bracket or mount used

Exactly. There are already several 3rd party tablet adapters available for the Mavic. All they have to offer now is CrystalSky adapters.
I already started designing my own. The CrystalSky's are 1/4-20 universal mount compatible on the bottom edge.

When will the Crystal Sky be out?  What will be the cost?  

But i guess it wont be able to live stream either
