Hi DJI,

Will we be able to use any orignal Phantom 4 parts with the new Phantom 4 Pro?

I just bought several extra batteries and propellers a few weeks ago, and I'm hoping they will work with the newer model.

I'm guessing the orignal P4 remote will not work with the Pro...

I'd be keen to find this out too.  I've already got 7 P4 batteries, will they work with the P4Pro?   Also, ND filters.  Will the P4 ND filters work with the P4Pro?

I believe it's confirmed the batteries will be interchangeable. And much less likely to need the ND filters on the P4P with the mechanical aperture f2.8-11. But the extended batteries are selling at £172

What I like to know is does this mean the P4 video transmission issues will not be addressed? or get worse with future updates?

LOL Green Screen Club

The same green screens and lag that many are complaining in the P4 forum.
(New Firmware thread, New RC Update thread, and many others).
It seems like instead of fixing these on the P4, they may have fixed them but we need to buy a P4P!

Maybe they will give the Green Screen Club a 50% off?

Downgrade to V1.6 RC fw to resolve the current issues, there is a problem with the last rc release.

Can the P4P camera fit onto the P4?

Which display are you using, I've seen many complaints from Android users, and a number of reports that rolling back to RC 1.6 resolves the problem, or a few reports that the latest DJI Go V3.1.0 has resolved the issue (working with RC V1.8).

Just thought I would tell you guys I just got through chatting with a DJI representative on their store chat.. They said that the batteries are interchangeable both ways.. So maybe we might get extended flight time for our P4!! Can't wait to test this out! The batteries are still priced the same so I am curious about what gives..

Where did you read that? Because if it is purely a display, it does not need to have an operating system.

Hi, P4P battery and propellers are compatible with P4.
P4 ND filters are not interchangeable.

Thanks DJI for making the batteries work on the regular p4, i think that is very customer friendly

Yep I had no issues with green screen, just updated firmware and now i have intermittent green screen issues? DJI need to address this even if there is an option in the App for android or apple tablet or something

Yes everything is compatable. The batteries just have a little more capacity..

I don't understand this answer. If the capacity is different (P4P batteries have a larger
capacity) would that not extend the flight time on the P4 as well? I would understand the "no" part
of the answer if the capacity was the same and the increased flight time of the P4P was extended
due to other improvements made on the P4P.

What am I missing?

Yes, 10% more storage should give 10% more flight time.

So if you currently get 20 minutes with the P4 batteries, you should get 22 minutes with the P4P batteries.  

If they cost 10% more then they would be very desirable...

Yes, it will. Since the P4P battery has bigger capacity.

Yes, I have P4P and one high cap battery and one "classic" battery, both work and charge fine, stand alone or in the three slot charger.
