It would be great if the existing P4 could take a P4Pro camera. Would that be possible? This would keep some recent customers happy for one generation before the P5 comes out.

At a guess everything under the shell is different and would need to be replace. Video processing chip for starters. Probably wouldn't be feasible.
Would be nice if they could port across some of the intelligent flight modes though.

Unlike the Inspire 2, there is no fundamental change in the data flow from the camera to the tx unit. I suspect that after some months, we will find that the camera is upgradeable. There won't be the new collision avoidance features of course unless one changes the shell and main board etc.
