No matter how many satellites i have showing on my display, my follow me mode always says " gps signal too weak" ! How do I fix this problem??

I'm curious about this as well. Tried using my phone and an Ipad with no luck.

This has been covered before many times - the controller's GPS (different to the aircraft's GPS) is obstructed by the tablet and doesn't get a solid position lock.
DJI's response is to use a tablet / phone which has a GPS function, which the GO app will use instead.

It doesn't always work however - even with solid GPS signal.

Hi Calvin, could you please clarify what mobile device you are using?
Just as Farnk666 mentioned, please make sure you are using a device which has GPS module.

From what I always understood was the Go APP device had to have GPS/ cellular capability .  I have an I pad  pro with GPS and it works just fine , I dont have the Cell option activated .  

Can you try another device with GPS capability ?  Like Most cell phones have this , as long as it is compatible with the Go app.  try this for testing purposes.
What device  are you using for the Go app ?   

Please someone correct me if I have this wrong.

I'm getting the same message when I took her out last weekend Follow me mode disabled as a result will not work. Using an ipad mini it was also the first time i tried this mode.

Does your iPad mini have cellular data, or just WiFi?

It has wifi but I use my phone as a hotspot and the ipad mini connects to the internet through the phone

But doesn't share the GPS data. You need a device that has GPS inbuilt

So the device used to connect to inspire must have its own data connection or cellular connection for follow me to work? The iPad has a GPS built in

No, the device needs to have a GPS inbuilt.
Data connection is irrelevant.

The WiFi version of the Ipad doesn't have a GPS, the cellular version does.
Therefore - your iPad will not work for 'follow me'.

Farnk666 hit the nail on the head. If you use your phone or a cellular data tablet, then Follow Me mode would work.
