What is the cheapest fpv option for the phantom 2 with a gopro

I would recommend the iOSD Mini.
It's smaller, lighter, cheaper and gives you the important stuff:
Distance, Height, Horizon lock, Home orientation arrow, Speed, Tilt, Current mode etc
It's about $70

iOSD gives you the telemetry info.  But if you don't have FPV in the first place, this is no good.  Don't you need Lightbridge to do FPV?

A $50-$70 video transmitter will do the job. You can get Lightbridge for $1400 but for that price, my ImmersionRC transmitter works great

You can buy a Black Pearl Monitor, they work great. FYI

You meant to say 5.8, right?  2.4 would be bad news on a non-Vision Phantom 2, since the controller uses 2.4.

yeap you are right, for vision+ use 2.4ghz for non vision use 5.8ghz

It is. The pic was just for them to envision the set up. The link labled "Immersionrc" takes you to the right transmitter, with all the photos they need
