So I accidently updated the controller to the newer version of the Phantom 2 Vision + when I have the original controller (without the fancy extra buttons)The update happened using the Phantom RC software. Now the controller doesn't even turn on anymore, no power indicator at all. What can I do?

you mean the power led isn't lightening when you turn on RC?  Have checked batteries?

of course I checked the batteries, they are brand new. I figured it out though. I had to go back into the RC System software and hit 'update' even though the controller looked off since there was no power light on, it did the update and it actually made the controller turn back on again after that. It was very strange. I hope if anyone else has this problem they'll find this thread and will do the same steps I took to fix it.
