I feel for you guys, I already received my mavic and while I do like it it's nothing special. The phantom 3 takes better pictures.

This wait is starting to get really old. Two new products launched while we sit here and wait without a clue to the true length of the wait.

It would seem that DJI's latest policy to cut off all communication between customers and them completely now. No chat available, no response to e-mails... I suspect the reason for this is that there last communication suggesting all orders up to 3rd November would be shipped in 7 - 8 weeks (which should be 6-7 weeks now) was absolute rubbish. Given that two weeks on from that communication they have not yet shipped all orders for the first two days of ordering yet it is extremely unlikely that they will keep this latest promise. Instead of just dishing out the usual "your order will ship soon" rubbish that we have been hearing for weeks, they have decided to just tough it out for the next few months and hope that they do not lose too many orders while they maintain the non-information and confusion.

My pre-order is through a local reseller and am still patiently waiting. I'd like to think that resellers are also on the same queue as those the pre-ordered directly and DJI is shipping them out in order.

Doesn't sound like it. Apple stores have got surplus stock sitting on shelves in store while other dealers who ordered months ago have no delivery dates from DJI.

Just walked into the Apple Store and WALLAH I was able to pickup one, I would recommend you'll to go into the store.

I think he wrote something about DJI completely botching this launch.   That's my guess.

What's really sad is that the cutting edge product I preordered in September ALREADY doesn't feel like a cutting edge product because they've launched newer drones already before I've even received mine.

The apple stores just got one or two and some have a mavic display. If I check online I can order one from them but delivery date is the End of January.
