I don't understand the difference between the forward and rearward facing cameras and the Infrared sensing system. Can someone explain this to me?

This must be on the P4 Pro.

These cameras are mounted on the legs front and back, and along with the infrared sensors at the side give the P4 Pro all round Obstacle Avoidance capability.

These sensors are completely independent of the main imaging camera which plays no part in Obstacle Avoidance.

Cameras front and rear (bottom too) and infrared on the sides.

Yeah, but don't forget it does not see everything, and don't rely on it to work at that speed.

Thank you, DJI but I sill don't understand the purpose of the infrared sensors. Why not just put cameras all the way around it and on top to get 360 degrees of obstacle avoidance.
