It was available online for 5 mins. I called to confirm and it went as. It available. They told me they had 2 that just came in but due to low stock it cannot be purchased for pickup. I went to the store tonight and they had 1 left. It was not ok the floor.

DJI is the weirdest company ever

Think of how many Apple stores there are and if your store only had 2 then it solidifies the fact that they are doing their best with production and honoring their pre-orders as best they can... at least the store didn't have 50 in stock.

Just received stock alert from newegg, but turned out DJI wants your money and says will ship on 12/15.
If you check newegg now, you will see that you can add to cart.

Just ordered "In store pickup" and will be ready in an hour. Pretty frustrating when I ordered from DJI on the 8th of Oct. and still haven't heard a peep from them. On the other hand I'll get one tonight. Now to wait for the batteries already ordered and if it's not shipping tmrw then I'm canceling unless someone would want my spot.......if it ships then i'll put it up on Ebay, no need for two....

I live in Lakewood ranch, Florida. My internet company is screwed up. For some reason I am routed through Canada. I tried to get it fixed but I don't have cell phone service so when I call they try and reset my service and my call drops. I use wifi calling. Since you are questioning if this is legit, here is my receipt from my email.

All the Stores in Florida and actually all Apple Store in USA are showing January 12th as date when they’ll have that aDJI Mavic pro in stock at stores.

You can order with delivery. You won’t get charged until it ships out. BUT that is 7-8 weeks

I know someone who works there at the mall on University and If anyone is getting a mavic from that store... It's me so I can resell on ebay and make double my money.

Seriously dude, I don't need you to believe me.  I posted 2 pictures and my receipt. I live near lakewood ranch high school between 70 and 64.  I will be flying around my community to get a feel for the mavic.
Apparantly I never signed up on the forum.  I was posting from the DJI App.  I am on my computer now and completed the registration.  The Canada thing is odd, like I said.  Makes it a pain in a$$ when making purchases online.

I just checked and Apple stores in Canada near Vancouver. It says two stores have them available for pickup today.

One last picture next to my dated phantom 2.

I wake up at 4:30am and if I open the box tonight that won't be happening.

where are you in Sarasota?  I live near 70 and Lakewood Ranch Blvd.  I work in downtown Bradenton and I called the apple store at 5:15pm and they still had one.  Girl on the phone was super nice and put it aside for me.  I asked a guy earlier in the afternoon if he would put it aside and he said no.  Perhaps he wanted it for himself.

I called my local apple store, they said that it didn't come up on their online inventory but they did have one this morning and it sold as soon as they opened

There was one showing for tomorrow at the Apple Newmarket store (outside of Toronto). I ordered as a pickup which shows for tomorrow. Once I ordered it went back to Jan. 17 so I believe I got in for the last one at that store. Will let you know once I get the confirmation email.

Nice.  If you ever want to get together to fly, send me a PM and we can connect.  I am still a newbie so I need practice.   I am not sure I am ready to fly over or near water yet.  I am looking forward to taking the mavic with me on a camping trip to Dry Tortugas after the new year.

Ugh. Right after I saw the OP here I checked inventory online at my local Apple Store in Calgary, Alberta. Immediately jumped in the car and went in and cancelled my paid-in-full preorder at the local pro camera store. In the time that we were going through the return transaction the inventory updated and the item had sold from Apple. I misread the "pick up in store" date on Apple's app as Thurs, Nov 19 (which of course doesn't exist) and my pick up in store Apple preorder I put through while in the parking lot of the local pro camera store is now actually Thurs, Jan 19th. Whoops—back of the line for me!

How'd you call the store when the local #'s just pass you through to a remote CSR...?

Also of note: when I called the Apple store during the whole process the person on the phone had no idea what a Mavic even was.

Anyone that lives in the Vancouver BC area can pick one up today and tomorrow according to apple's website

First time I called and thought I was talking to the store but it was online sales.  Once I found out they told me at the prompt to say "speak to a manager" and that will connect you to the store.

Must have beat you to it. If anyone is interested in the one I ordered from Best Buy let me know. I ordered on October 2nd and it currently shows shipping Nov. 23rd (but who knows). Price would be cost. If not I will cancel after I have the Mavic from Apple in hand.
