Hey does anyone know how to capture a still photo while a recording video is in progress? Still new to the Phantom 4, thanks.+

You can't, you have to stop video to take photo and then restart video.

And if you check with almost any other camera you will find it is the same, a few rare examples will take a still, but it is often just a grab from the video stream.

Both Geebax and Aardvark hit the nail on the head.

In iOS, DJI GO 4 app, when flying and recording a video, there is a WHITE "button" just above the red one (a little square when filming). I remember that touching this button makes a photo... At least I HAD this option... in App version  4.1.0 I have the impression this is not working (anymore)...

Has any of you tried this?

If you shoot in 4K every frame is a 12 MP photo. Just run video the whole time and pull out the frame you want.
