This won't happen. It only moves left/right to be able to steady the shot.
If you would move it to the left or right, at it's maximum point, it will not be able to steady the shot, because there is no way it can move more at a certain point. And therefor, the gimbal is useless.

So no, this won't happen. It can only work on a craft like the inspire that has a camera that can rotate 320°.

When calibrating, it will also moves left and right, that's normal.
It says 100% successfully on the page, right?

Yes it says 100% successful.  It would be nice to have the ability to have the gimbal pan a tiny bit.
