You sure get around, now its Tasmania? Nice shots.
For those that don't know, that whole area should be covered in trees, but bad mining and on-site smelting pratices in years gone by have poisoned all the vegetation. Around 50 years ago there was not a live blade of grass in that whole area.
The wedge tail eagle is very territorial, they attack real aircraft. Have a look at some of my photos here http://geelongrcgliders.com/eagle_photos.htm
where they are attacking our remote control gliders. These birds are huge, they have a 2 metre wingspan.
