I think this is the answer to all of the X5 peoples prayers,
from what im understanding it records at a 100mbs bitrate and it prob will be on the osmo handle as well
i think this is where the panorama shots and the timelaspe will be
vs the x5
sucks because i just got the x5 , but i will instantly trade up for the x5s
The X4S and X5S don't have onboard video processors so they won't work with the Osmo, according to DJI there is a new handle coming for them. They will no doubt also require the DJI SSD cards like the Inspire 2 for storage of videos in Apple Prores or Cinema DNG.
When it comes to panorama and timelapse at a pro level I think an SLR camera is a better tool for the job.
They have pushed the camera processor of the x5s into the Inspire 2. In order to use the x5s as a handheld solution DJI will need to make a completely redesigned Pro handle. The current Osmo handle, even there was an adapter, will not work because of this.
Yes it will be, it will need CineCore2 processor and SSD slot.
I would guess around $1500, plus $1000 per SSD.
But if it solves all the faults of the Osmo X5R it will be worth it
