my Ronin PPM input not working and no more info this connector(Dbus/PPM)
Please help. needed PPM oscillogramm etc, how to switched Dbus/ppm, connector pinout.
I use the openlrs receiver (PPM and Sbus available)

Hi, same problem here! Graupner PPM Receiver does not work at Ronin. At a DJI A2 the PPM Receiver works great. Thank you Matze

My transmitter/receiver: OpenLRS version 3.7.2
PPM configure is 8 channel.

ronin is recognise positive or negative PPM?

Ronin configurator softvare no info is other channel (mode, speed aux etc)


Dbus is copatible Sbus?


The Ronin is best solution for other heavy-Handy gimbals

I also couldn't get PPM (frsky d8r II plus with frsky d8r-xp firmware [cppm]) to work and got an answer from DJI support email saying that atm it's not supported.

So i had laying around these two receivers and they both work:
1) OrangeRX R800X - https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyk ... hz_TwinPort_Rx.html
Tested with Spektrum DX8 transmitter

2) FrSky X8R receiver - https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyk ... r_W_Smart_Port.html
Tested with Turnigy 9xr transmitter (XJT module)

All of these receivers have S-BUS output available, so it looks like only s-bus compatible receivers work.

Its a ppm to sbus converter

that works well but I prefer the Graupner works directly on the Ronin.
Why work ppm with the Naza v * and Wookong and not with the Ronin?

I can get ppm to work using a Futaba FASSTest receiver (so all channel mapping is the same), but it will randomly freeze, and then jump back.  Absolutely unusable in a professional shoot...

If you're using non Futaba S.bus stream, make sure your channels are mapped correctly.
