Is it possible to use api port to power my lb2?

The N3 will get power through the RF cable, which is within the box.
On the photo you see this cable between the A3 and LB2.

Fine! It's more simple than the lb1 with the a2...

On this picture I see Picture In Picture mode using HDMI and AV input.
How can you do that, because option are only available for Gimbal LB2 input and HDMI or AV can work. On DJI GO I can't choose HMDI and AV at the same time.
Someone knows how to work HDMI AND AV input with picture in picture mode ?

Use the latest Firmware and GoApp.

Disable the EXT Port. (EXT Port = Gimbal Port)
Enable HDMI/SDI Video Output.
App Output Mode is the picture (AV or HDMI) shown on the tablet.
Set Bandwidth Allocation.
Select monitor format, PIP and picture.
Best regards,
Wilhelm

Hi, thanks for your fast reply.
Unfortunatly all is allready as I told on my request. So strange because DJI do not allow to use HDMI AND AV at the same time as you seems working. Where is the "magic" ?

In order to give you more information please find following my configuration and what I do :

I have one Gopro Hero 5 connected on LB2 HDMI port, and 600 TVL AV cam connected on LB2 AV port

1 - Disabling Ext Port = Done (but on HDMI PLUG on the radio I see an OSD info with grey background)
2 - Enabling HDMI/SDI output = Done
3 - Setting Bandwith allocation : HDMI 50% and AV 50% = Done
4 - Monitor Format = 720P50 for example or more
5 - PIP : if you choose PIP AV or PIP HDMI you can only see grey background and HDMI or AV when EXT PORT is activated. No video appear if EXT PORT disabled !
6 - PIP position : right low position selected. But all other position do not change the situation

Nevertheless, If I disable EXT PORT, the external screen display only OSD coming from LB2 with a green background screen (signal coming from EXT GIMBAL if connected !).

Please let me know what is your firmwares config, because mine are the latest for all equipments used.

I concur with WiSi-Testpilot, updating the air end would get you up and running.

AIR System on DJI Go 3 iOS app I can see  : LB2 AIR : version 1.1.2.00 that the reason why I wrote this.

But using DJI ASSISTANT 2 - v1.0.5 on my MAC BOOK PRO : 1.1.40 firmware current is written
Can you check on your DJI GO for iOS too in order to see those infos.

Still do not working.

Yes DJI GO was deleted and reinstalled on iPhone 7.

On Android Samsung same problem. I can't display picture in picture with HDMI and AV channels.

The difference on Android version is the version of the firmware displayed : Air System V 1.1.40 without any change.
The iOS continue to display : LB2 AIR : version 1.1.2.00

All parameters are the same than different screen shot seen here. Tested too different combination w/wo EXP active or not. The HDMI port on a radio only display the OSD and a grey screen in Background.

I'll try with a second LB RADIO when I receive it but not shure it will change the inconvenient.

My last test will be done with a M600 Gimbal adapter for X3/Z3 available as a accessorie parts on DJI, in order to see if it works correctly with the GIMBAL channel AND HDMI or AV channel picture in picture.

What a pitty !

You are right, with the recent A3 firmware the HDMI output does no longer work. The last test I made in Dezember. After Update the A3 I did not test the HDMI output.

Oh thanks to have realized this test. If I understand correctly It seems a DJI firmware limitation for the moment ...

Perhaps downgrading the firmware, the HDMI and AV will it work again for you ?

At the moment I will not downgrade, because major upgrades were announced for the LB2 and A3.

You see, that battery voltage on HDMI is not working. But this is an other problem...

Together with the recent A3 update I had updated the LB2 Ground System from V1.1.50 to V1.1.70. This update may have caused the bug.

The N3 will get power through the RF cable, which is within the box.
On the photo you see this cable between the A3 and LB2.

In A3 RF left and second pin = 9v
In my cable DBUS II from box only 3 wires and left empty and no powered RX LB2
Where I can powered from A3 another place?

Hello,
the RF cable in the LB2 box has 3 wires, the RF cable in the A3/N3 box has 4 wires and a filter in the middle, see my pictures.
With a 9 V BEC you may supply the LB2 through the gimbal port, left pin, V+.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Thank you for the picture. I am very green, trying to build a Tarot X 8. Had some learning curve with the coax cables that power the motors. Got pat that and have been stuck on powering the LB 2 flight system. Now I can see about some programming don't mind saying I'm a little worried.

Do you have a shot of the landing gear cable that connects to your flight controller?
