Did DJI just changed "Mavic Pro" to "Mavic" on their website or it's like this all along?

Pretty sure it used to say Mavic Pro there...

I've said from the beginning that the Mavic Pro name didn't make much sense. Hasn't DJI always released a product, then in the product refresh after initial sales started to slump come out with a "Pro" or "Advanced" model on the same platform? I imagine the current Mavic Pro being demoted to Mavic, then the Mavic Pro coming out after the Christmas sales season. It will be the same basic design but have the upgraded camera of the P4P and possibly the added sensors.

They acknowledged now that there is some more work to do to call it Pro.

Mavic Pro is branded on the actual drone itself. I don't think they're trying to do anything here

And its third revision will be called Mavic Pro Super Duper Advance.

Highly unlikely they are able to fit the P4P camera on the mavic. At Least not anytime soon.

The video compression isn't up to pro use. Otherwise i'd say it's probably it qualifies.

They should have just gone with Mavic, then released a pro version next year.

I couldn't care less what it's called. It's just a name. Having said that, there is no way they will change the name. They have already sold thousands and shipped a few (jab, jab). The name is already printed on the packaging and the manuals. Heck, it even says, "Mavic Pro" right on the drone. They will just have to call the next version something else.
