Just read a post on the Mayoo thread about somebody being asked to pay import duty on their Mavic.  All taxes were meant to be included in the price.

Does anyone else have any experiences of this in the UK, this could be the final straw in an already convoluted purchasing saga.  It may be just worth waiting for it to be in the shops.  If anyone from DJI is out there, can they also comment on the import duty as the person in question was being given the runaround on the last post they made saying that DJI could not help.

Increasingly going off the whole thing now.

What are you doing up at such an ungodly hour, Get some sleep!!!!

DJI have emphasised on their help page that if the courier service ask for import duty or any other taxes, to contact onlinesales@dji.com. You can see it here:

http://www.dji.com/support/purchase
under shipping & delivery (point 5).

it says "Customs fees and VAT are already included in the product price when purchasing products from our online store. However, you may be asked to pay a charge by local shipping agents. If you encounter this situation, we strongly advise you not to pay them, and contact our online sales support at onlinesales@dji.com.Dedicated staff will be available to help you."

Sweet dreams.
