First footage with me mavic, no color shading, only mounting… pretty cool


Is there any wind warning if the wind gets to strong during flight ? i flew with very strong wind without difficulties nor onscreen alert…

Beautiful scenery. The video looks a little over-sharpened for my tastes, but nice nonetheless. Any reason you chose to film at 30fps? Would have thought being in France you'd go with 25. Not that it matters, just curious.

Doesn't really matter in the digital world. TV's support both framerates and most of it is watched on PC.

Only when you have lights in a shit, then 24 could be a batter choice.

I think I'll also be filming in 30fps, just to get it a bit smoother. The real question is, why doesn't everyone film in 24p? All movies are 24p. So we are used to see it and looks more "cinematic"

I tend to go with 25p Since there's no big difference between that can 24p and 25p is a PAL standard. You are right it doesn't matter in terms of TVs and monitors but depending on their refresh rate some frame rates will look better than others.

European audiences will be used to seeing 25p, and North Americans 30p, no big deal.

48/50/60fps looks very smooth, but for most it's compared to cheap TV and the motion looks unrealistic. yOf course you can only get these at 1080p on the Mavic, which isn't great anyway.

Now do it with 1080p60, I bet DJI won't feature your thread on the main community page...

Scale it 48 to 60 in adobe media encoder or premiere. It does a good job even 30 to 60. I'm gonna play with 4k 30 scaled down to 1080p 60 whenever it gets here.
