Would love the option to lower the volume or mute it too, got a bit of a fright the first time I tried RTH

It's so loud even when focusing!
The beep is piercing to the ears & when it's constant it's like trying to sleep when your neighbor's car alarm is going off!
Its ANNOYING, so I can only imagine what people near by think about the sound.

It needs to be loud and annoying, its a warning!
To avoid it, come back home before the battery is low and fly it back manually using the two waggly stick things provided....

The Mavic Pro owners have spoken. Make this happen DJI please, with the next firmware update for the remote transmitter. A simple mute function will be perfect.

Agree, user should be able to cancel or adjust volume of the beep.

I took it apart its a buzzer and just gets a set voltage feed so I don't think they will be able to vary the volume. just enable it or disable it. I really like not having it on at all.  I don't use the RTH function, but just things for like the right wheel adjust being silent is so much better. Taking it apart isn't too bad just getting the forward piece off take a bit of force more than I liked. Make sure the wheels are seated well and you re-calibrate the sticks if you do take it apart. My video was posted above.

Hi, I'll suscribe to this thread hoping they'll someday deliver us an update to cut the transmitter alarm, so far it vibrates and displays Red low battery level on the app is enough for us ..
Shall we submit a petition for it ?

I agree with all the comments, this beeping is overkill and crazy annoying and loud. With a beeping warning like this I would expect a message that my drone is about to explode in mid air!

Any news about an update?

This would be great to have a software switch:

- vibration
- mute
- vol1
- vol2
- vol3

something like that for switch on/off, RTH and Battery Warnings.

+1, that beep gets annoying fast. I would like to the option to acknowledge/silence the beep as well. It beeps, I figure out why it beeps, and can then silence the beeps.

I'd love a volume for the RTH beep too. The low battery alarm not being mutable, I can kind of understand. But for RTH, it could be a lot, lot softer and still get the job done, since the controller itself says "GOING HOME" the whole time. With the current "BEEPBEEP! BEEPBEEP! BEEPBEEP!" I am reluctant to use Return Home for any reason if anyone else is around that I can see, as it feels tactless to interrupt any peace and quiet.

Oh I gotta get in on this. IMO, it is well beyond what is needed. If you are a responsible flyer, you keep an eye on telemetry and vitals while you're flying. A one or two beep warning for critical issues is a good thing but like the others, the constant BEEP during RTH is so annoying it makes me want to shut off the remote!!!!!

You have enough customers that have paid quite a bit of money here requesting this be changed. Please listen to us and fix what we all feel is a serious issue.

PS. And please get the C2+Exp wheel gimbal tilt shortcut fixed ASAP!!!!!!

Second to request for disabling RTH sound

I'm having VPS issues as well as drifting, spinning and climbing on its own, I'd be happy that's all that's wrong, an occasional beeping?

I like the beeps for low battery warning, but not the continuous beeping...maybe 3 beeps or even 6 beeps then mute.

I just fly home manually. No beeping.

I just got my Mavic and was messing around in the simulator - the beep is very loud during RTH, but the take off voice is super low -- how to make the voice prompts louder?

I believe my volume is all the way up.

I would also like the ability to mute or reduce the volume as it is quite loud and gets rather annoying ..... its the ONLY thing that I don't like about my Mavic !!!!!

Yes! We need a way to disable the boot up beeps/chimes too. Sometimes I power up my controller and Mavic in my home at night, and it can wake up my wife and kids.
