New Inspire owner here. Upgrading my "fleet" from P3Ps. I bought a used unit with dual remotes but the slave remote isn't working correctly. It connects to the master RC and controlls the camera gimbal but no connection to the iPad via USB.
I did notice the slave only has USB connections, no HDMI or data bus connections. Did the previous owner swap out the HDMI module for a USB only and therefore compatibility issues? I have an HDMI module I installed on one of my P3Ps. I can swap them but thought I would ask here first. Thanks!

I hate answering my own questions...

I grabbed the module out of my P3P and put in in the inspire 1 slave. Fired right up. Model numbers printed on the circuit board seem to be identical between the original and the "add on" board from the P3P minus what I'm assuming was a manufacturing date.

Sounds like you had a bad part 54 HDMI board is that what you think as well ?

Nope. It didn't have an HDMI board when I received it, just a USB board like the Phantom series comes with. One of the previous owners must have taken the HDMI board off the original Inspire 1 RC for use on a Phantom where it is an option, not standard. Thats my guess at least.

That sounds about right, there should be an HDMI port on both master and slave.

I would agree that the previous owner did a switch of the port module out. You can get a replacement HDMI from most places so that you don't need to use the P3's.

They are supposed to. In the OP's case, however, the original owner for some reason swapped the HDMI module in the back for the P3P/A USB module.
