Is it worth buying? This year will be the first time my Inspire 1 will experience the cold. I was thinking just using my arm pits to warm up the batteries when I'm out. Not sure if that's a good idea or not lol.

I don't have one because I don't really fly in the cold.  Should I start to fly in the cold, I'll definitely pick one up.  It's not that expensive and lots of pilots use them and report that it works well.

The arm-pit method works plus it makes you look proper hard! I keep mine down my pants when it's cold. "Hello ladies" {:4_181:}

It's very well worth it in cold climates if you don't want to stick your batteries down your pants all the time.

I would agree that it's worth the purchase.

I have two of them for cold weather and they work great for me, I don't use the in your pants method

If you will be near your vehicle and can keep the batteries warm don't bother. The armpit thing took way to long and its hard to fly wile trying to warm your next battery. I use the heater. keep in mind that some of your flight time goes to powering the heater.

Should I worry about a battery heater if I live in South Eastern Unites States?
