Not at all, when flying I have had 15+ satellites at all times. Upon starting the drone I have noticed that it can take a few seconds to pick up a strong GPS signal and the drone may start up in ATTI mode.

Wow, how did you fly this thing almost five miles away and still have 67% battery?

This screenshot was taken when I was about 2 miles out. I turned around at this point and made it back with around 45% battery left.

Sorry, had a brain fart there. Two miles not five. So you flew out using sport mode?
They say 40mph top speed but there is a video on youtube with a guy flying his at 60mph over and along side a lake. This thing really moves.

I actually flew out there with it in GPS mode. The Mavic is more efficient on battery usage in GPS mode then Sport mode. So I flew around 20-25 MPH the whole trip. With my experience in Sport mode I have gotten the drone up to about 45 MPH. I have not flown the drone yet with a strong tail wind.
