How do you like your phone holder? I like mine shaven.
This allows thicker phones to fit. Annoying having to remove case and then risking a cracked screen that could cost $200-300 to replace and inuninconvenience =)

Cut it on an angle/gradient to allow for thinner phones.

I thought about that also, then I thought about using velcro on the phone case and hand grips of the controler.
Then I cam up with this.  With my phone case I don't have issues and it holds on very nicely.
Just thought I would share.

You can slide out the rubber insert - they are on a track held by three torx6 screws shown in the picture.
You have to take both out initially because they are locked together with zig zag teeth.
If you leave the back rubber out the front alone will hold a phone with bumper type case perfectly.
Mine is done like that - Samsung S5

Taking my phone in and out of the case is a bit of a pain. I'll give this a try. Thanks for the tip.

I have not modified my phone case or the RC.
I'm just using a longer micro cable, the stock rubber feet on the controller keeps my phone from slipping ect..

So there are no worries about getting a new phone that is smaller ect..
