I have a new Mavic Pro. It worked fine for the first time. Except the controller will not turn off. I hold the power button and it goes back to "Connecting..." It will not turn off. Is it defective?

You say it "goes back to connecting". From where does it come then?

Could you please make a short video of this issue?

Fishfrog, if you do what I did then it will not work. You need to "double tap" fairly quickly by the second tap needs to be held down. Think of it as if you double clicking your mouse but you need to hold down the second click. It's all about timing.

did that a few times myself,  until I got the double tap down,,, easy to do
