Does the phantom 3 have any type of compass, bearing, orientation, exif information on the geotagged photos?

The Exif data has position and altitude data but not heading or camera tilt angle if that's what you are looking for.
If you really needed it you could work out the heading information by going through the flight data corresponding to that part of the flight.

So what is gimbal yaw for on the geotags?
