Just curious, how come the file name for the advanced firmware update v 01.09.0060 starts with P3S?  Why wouldn't it be P3A?  Am I being to nit picky?  Or am I missing something.

It's correct, the file will start with P3S_FW if it's Phantom 3 advanced, while it will be P3X_FW if it's Phantom 3 Professional.
Please check the status, if it shows "success", which means you upgrade it successfully. Please do not worry about that.

Umm. I just downloaded the firmware for P3Pro and it starts with P3X???????
What you just wrote is that both the advanced and professional use the same firmware???  P3S is what you wrote for both?
I spent $850 dollars on this, and yes, I'm going to worry about it.
I don't own a pro, I own an advanced.  If I may interpret correctly, the advanced and standard use the same firmware, is this correct?  Which starts with P3S_

P3S is advanced and P3X is for the Pro.

Forget the naming convention used it bears no relation to the devices.

There is no file download from the website as such for the P3 Standard, it upgrades via the DJI Go App.

How about the RC firmware for 1.8 with Go Apps version 3.1.0 that people complain the lagging?
I am facing the same problem too....
Now i downgrade my RC firmware to 1.6 and use 2.9.1 Go App.

My currently is using Asus Zenpad 8.0 with android 6.0 os.
It's lags from begining and keep signal lost till i can't make it fly.
Go Apps=3.1.0
RC=1.8
Aircraft=1.9.60

The screen video capture will try upload it to tonight.

Asus Zenpad is not in DJI recommended device list, it would be better try another one which is compatible with the APP.
If you can not fly it, it would be best to send it in for further evaluation then get it fixed by our engineers.

Since it's not in the recommended list, we cannot guarantee it's performance.
You could try another mobile device to have a test or please re-install V1.6 for the remote, then check the performance.
