I got my Phantom 3 Standard form Target yesterday, I am having a hard time doing compass calibration, 1st step I get solid green but 2nd step(holding nose down 360 rotation) it always results in flashing yellow. I have tried in 2 different places. One in my backyard and the other out in a park in the green with no electric poles nearby, no phone or car FOB on me. Always the same..I am at the point where I might just return it.

Any advice would be helpful. Thank you

It often requires more than 360 degrees rotation so don't just stop at 360.

That's true.. even the first step was a little more than 360. I did try more than 360 for the second step still the same issue.

Was the camera facing down or up when you did the dance?

Please try to raise it above your head when calibrating as well and keep us posted, thanks.

Also be sure you are not near any metal, even concrete can steel rebar in it.

Hi. Try again different places. If this still happen I think you had same problem with me. I settle this by getting new replacement set from DJI.

It may help to perform an IMU calibration as well.

I made a newbie mistake just like Andy did in this youtube
Completed the steps described in this tutorial and everything worked fine.
