I just took the Mavic for a few flights and noticed the right side of my image is blurry. Stills and Videos.
Is this something the repair facility can fix or does it have to be shipped back to China?
The repair facility is down the street from me and it's where I bought the Mavic so I'd like to take it there for repair if possible?
Anyone know?

Start a support ticket with DJI, I would assume they would be able to replace your camera/gimbal at a service center

I have lower left screen looking blurry plus and overall focusing problem... Most of the times i have soft focus and my pictures/videos look ugly, plus i have app disconnections leaving me w/o video feed and advanced commands (can still fly it with rc and rth form rc)

I'm sorry you are experiencing this, please contact DJI support in the morning and send it in for evaluation.
It's under warranty and it needs to be sent to California for repair/exchange.

Canadian purchasers need to send their Mavics to California?? There is at least one authorized DFI repair facility in Canada (Calgary).

Drive down to the center and ask them? I bet they're better equipped to answer this question. Even if they don't have a public access point, just go knock on the door. The worst they can do is say, "no."

There is no Canadian repair facility for the Mavic. DJI used to allow for "authorized" Phantom repairs by 3rd parties but no longer. Everything has to go to California now.

The aircraft has to come to California for warranty work, that is the only official DJI repair center.

You can have your aircraft repaired by anyone you choose, but for warranty work it has to come to California.
And for new released aircraft like the Mavic, I2, P4P they can only be repaired in California and the independent repair shops are unable to repair since they don't have parts.

I did some stationary tests today and it seems as though its blurry on the left side now and sharp on the right? Anyone heard of this on any camera model before?

Also you have to remember, this is a tiny camera and it not going to give the results as a DSLR.

Yes mine was the same except it was the left side. I have sent mine back (i managed to get one of the first shipments) and DJI confirmed it is a hardware issue and they are replacing my camera. I am yet to get it back so will let you know if it is fixed. My friend also has a Mavic and his is crystal clear so it just depends if  your camera has been installed right when it was made. I would send it back.

If the lens is decentered, it will likely show sharpness and softness on one side or the other.  This can shift based on which side is actually being focused on but the entire frame will not be in focus.  

If you want to do a good test, set the mavic up to take a stationary picture.  After you take a couple photos, turn it over on its top and take a few more without changing the focus.  Assuming the camera/gimbal will hold steady (leave the clamp on?) you should see the focus shift from one side to the other in the sets of photos.

That's disappointing. I was mislead by their (multrotorheli.ca) site stating;
"We are only authorized DJI repair facility of Drones in Canada, we are full drone repair facility located in Calgary, AB."

Just an FYI really...I had the soft/blurry image issue with my Mavic as well. I was fortunate enough to receive my Combo package in early November and spotted the issue straight away. My drone was RMA'd and shipped to the Netherlands for repair. After about 2 weeks, it was confirmed that the camera and gimbal were to be replaced under warranty and then shipped back. I picked up the drone on Friday from a local UPS depo and I had received a completely new drone. The stickers were still covering the various parts of the drone and the serial number was completely different. I was quite impressed to have received a new drone but surprised that I had to wait almost three weeks for a "repair" when they could have just sent out a new drone immediately.

Well...bad news...the new drone has the same problem but in a different place and to a different degree. To say I am disappointed in an understatement. Now I am in two minds as to what to do. On one hand, I want to RMA it again and hopefully will receive it back before Xmas but don't want to hold my breath. The other part of me thinks use it for the rest of the year and RMA it in the New Year as hopefully things will be quicker in the service department.

I received a letter along with my replacement drone stating that a "Quality" assessment had taken place. I question the extent of the assessment if I spotted the issue in less than 5 minutes flight time.

Apologies to those with drones out for repair with the same issue. I hope that my situation is a one-off but I can't help but feel that this isn't an isolated incident.
