A lens pen. Something to carry it in. I use an old shoulder bag at £75 for the DJI one is insane.

I would much rather use this tablet holder for the Mavic as it doesn't block the screen on the RC when in use.

Apart from that, I'd say a lens pen and some sort of case. I'm planning on using this to keep mine protected while transporting it in a backpack with my other camera gear.

Tablet holder (I got mine from Dirty J Designs on ETSY), short USB cord to my iPad mini, sun shade and that neck strap that clips on the tablet holder so you cant accidentally drop everything.

DJI's model I don't know, but, there is a 3rd party brand that appears to be shipping middle December on Amazon.  December 15 release date by Darkhorse for $69.  After becoming used to my Phantom 4 rapid charger, this is a very important accessory for me.

Are you referring to this...?  I can't see anything about it being an "advanced" or "rapid charging" hub.

Where did you find "motor caps", or does it come with them and I just missed it?

Personally, I have spare props, a 6-pack Polar Pro filter kit on order, along with my Combo kit on order.  Great thread and will now have to get a new Lens Pen.  I use them on other cameras, but need a small one for the Mavic.

I use motor caps with my Phantom 4 and really love them.  There are tiny little strips of aluminum that act as a guide/lock for the threading of the propellers.  Having a cap over the motors will help protect dust and dirt from getting in during backpack transport as well as protecting this thin strip of metal from snagging and being bent or damaged.  Very cheap protection if you intend to throw it in a back pack like I do.

Yes, that's the one.  I'm using a Chinese Rapid Charger with my Phantom 4 that said the same, but, charges 3 Phantom 4 batteries in 1 hour.  I agree it doesn't seem this model says it will do that after closer inspection.  There will be a 3rd party vendor that will produce one in record time though I'm sure.  My Phantom 4 rapid charger has been the most Awesome Accessory I've ever purchased for my drones.  I recently went on an adventure to Komodo and being able to charge all 3 batteries in an hour proved invaluable in flying and capturing imagery.   I have a $70 3rd party charger that works flawlessly and is far cheaper than the $300 rapid chargers I've seen for Phantom 3 & 4 batteries.

Yes, from reading this ones description more closely you are right.  However, I bought one for my Phantom 4 for same price that charges 3 batteries and controller in 1 hour.  Excellent piece of kit from company that made Phantom 3 rapid charger as well.  I'm sure a 3rd party will have this rapid charger soon for Mavic, just keep watching Amazon.

Have ipad mini 4 on order while waiting on arrival of Mavic.  Looking for short 90 degree lightning to usb cable to connect to controller.  Have looked everywhere on internet with no luck.  Drone Valley sold out.  Anyone know of a source?

Yes the cable is just right (8").  I use an IPad Mini 4 as well and ordered 2 of the cables.  Works perfectly.

According to these YouTube links, you do not need a special mount for the controller.  I've watched many examples of people using iPad minis that I'm comfortable it will work.  Hope these help.

Hmm, I just went with a 12 inch micro usb male to male, works great. + leave my usb open if I ever need it.

I'm getting a folding landing pad. Will be useful on snow, sand, and grass taller than a putting green.
