Are you sure that The EXTREME you have is an original one ?
I had a bad experience in the past, with one SanDisk I bought from eBay, an It was a counterfeit, as Geebax said

I bought sandisk extreme 64gb of a certified shop in Norway and exchanged the card 2 times, but got the same problem.

Have I bought another brand now, Lexar 633x. This card is even worse!!!, I insert the card en instantly gets the message error. ( Have tried to format to fat32, but stil only error message. Lexar 633x

But the sony 16gb card works like a charm, maybe it truly don´t support higher storage then 16gb -32gb cards.

I have two SanDisk Extreme Plus 32gb cards, a SanDisk Extreme Plus 64gb card, a Lexar 633x 32gb card, Kingston 32gb card and the supplied Sony 16gb card and they all work flawlessly.

I would have to imagine your problems are associated with counterfeit cards, or bad cards.  If the stock 16gb card supplied works, then you know the card port in the AC works.

The P4Pro *IS* picky about what cards it will use successfully, but with a number of *known good* brands and configurations out there,  I would have to imagine you can find something that works.

Is the Lexar 633x a 32gb or 64gb card?  I do know that under Lexar that different capacities are different technologies, so maybe that is where the problem is...

I have a couple of cards that I can't use in my P4Pro either, including a 128gb card that works flawlessly in PCs/Samsung smartphones/tablets and I can't get the P4Pro to utilize it no matter how I format it.

I have the 128GB lexar 633x card, I returned it yesterday. Now I have tried the sandisk extreme again, but now with the 32GB version. I have tried this card for 20 minuts and had no problems with it, so if this card works I will buy more of them.

Thanks for help

You must look for an UHS-I  card, and at least U3 or V30, because the U1 or V10 are in the limit.

Selecting a memory card is way more confusing than it has any right to be because these cards started out as storage media for images, not video, and the different uses require much different behavior from the memory card. For images you want a fast burst speed but you don't care about the minimum sustained speed. In the worst case, it just  takes a little longer to write your image(s) to the card. On the other hand,  video requires the card to have a guaranteed minimum write speed. If the card is any slower than that, in the best case the camera will drop frames and in the worst case it will generate an error and stop recording. In the past manufacturers would specify only the maximum write speed, which is only useful when recording bursts of images.  When SDxx cards came into use for video recording the industry developed speed classes. These specify minumum (continuous) rather tham maximum (burst) write speeds. The classes relevant to HD and 4K recording are SDHC/XC Class 10, UHS-i U1, UHS-i U3, and UHS-ii. Each of these standards (SDHC, SDXC, UHS-i , UHS-ii) uses a different electrical and software interface to the card, each of which provides enhanced performance and increased capacity. In the case of UHS-ii there are six additional connector contacts on the back of the card, while the others use the original set of 9 contacts. The newer cards are backward compatible with the older interfaces, that is, you can use a UHS-ii card in a SDHC or UHS-i camera, but it will still only operate at SDHC or UHS-i speeds. The phantom 4 pro has a UHS-i interface and so it supports Class 10 or UHS-i U1 or UHS-i U3 cards. If you spend the extra money on a higher speed UHS-ii card it will work but it just falls back to UHS-i mode and speed.  So don't waste your money.  The fastest video compressor on the P4 pro runs at 100 Mb/s (12.5/MB/s). DJI  conservatively suggests a card with minimum speed rating of 15 MB/s.  That suggests that you need a UHS-i U3 card which guarantees a minimum of 30MB/s. While Class 10 and UHS-i U1 (both guarantred @ 10MB/s) will most likely work, for the few extra dollars it's worth buying the U3 card.

I can tell you from experience that a Sandisk Ultra Plus will not work. Doesn't seem to be able to keep up. Took 2 pictures yesterday & it must have taken 8 seconds to write to the card and reset so that I could take another. The video would stay on maybe 45 seconds max before stopping. Extreme Pro on its way. I compared the memory card that came with the P4P to the one I mistakenly bought. Looks like you need U3 and 90 MB/S transfer rates from what I've been able to figure out.

Same here Ultra Plus doesn't even get recognized. But Extreme Pro works perfectly for me.

I have unboxed my new p4p and it has come with sd card installed but no sd card in the controller. My questions are-
Why do I need sd card in the drone?

I had to send mine back because it displayed a critical error, but I noticed that the controller for the P4P did not have a slot for a SD card.

The SD card in the drone will record your videos and pictures without glitches caused by transmission back to the controller

I just got the sandisk extreme U3 xc1 v30 (64gb) for my P4P. (Purchased from amazon) My video freezes every 2-4 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this?

I should also add the Sony SD that came with works totally great.

FYI, if you plan to record 4K at 100Mb/s on the P4P, you will need a U3 rated micro SD card, otherwise you won't be recording at 100Mb/s. U1 and Class 10 cards are not fast enough.

I put a little guide together for myself. All the information you need to know about SD cards and data rates with the phantom series aircraft can be found below. ____________________________________________________________________________

Wondering if anyone has seen this issue. I installed a Sandisk Ultra 128G card the other day.  While shooting some video today I noticed that the capacity counter on the DJI GO app was not decrementing. It continue to display 99:59 even as I shot 20 minutes of 4K video?

This is something I actually over looked myself and I ended up making a mistake. I picked up a Lexar High-Performance 633x microSDHC™/microSDXC™ UHS-I card thinking it would be just fine however the drone doesn't read the card, but my DSLR cameras do. I guess the legal that "WeAreRebellion" posted is better optimized for a drone?

Any UHS-3 should be more than fast enough.

UHS-3 doesn't exist yet. they just release UHS-2. You maybe mean U3 that means minimum of 30mb/sec steady write speed

I purchased a Sandisk Extreme Pro. http://amzn.to/2vOHbWe .... its an excellent card and I get no dropped frames when filming 4K as it is 4K Rated, it also has the benefit of transferring form the card to the computer externally quick. I have been using it in the Mavic for around 4month with no issues. Or a cheaper option is  the Sandisk Ultra http://amzn.to/2uVYqn1 though transfer speeds will be greatly reduced.
