So i just got my new P4P from DJI, it's all charged up and ready to go. I launch the DJI app and am prompterd to download a NEW app. I click on the link and am taken to a DJI website which says "comming soon". I called DJI support and the rep said he had no idea when it would come out. Does anyone know when it will be releaed?

Dear DJI Customers:

We recently announced the Phantom 4 Pro, a powerful and intelligent aerial imaging platform for photographers, video creators and hobbyists. We want to take this opportunity to thank our customers and also provide an update on the shipment status and the app availability.

The Phantom 4 Pro, with many newly-added intelligent features, will work with the new ‘DJI Go 4’ mobile app. The Android version of the app is now available on Google Play and the iOS version will be made available on App Store within the first half of December.

In addition, we've started shipping the product to different channels including our Flagship Stores, online customers and dealer partners, so we hope to have you up in the air with the Phantom 4 Pro very soon.

Chill bro, i think this post need to be up here. I checked my e-mail and I have not received any email from DJI regarding the app. It's pretty lame of DJI to do this to P4Pro's first buyers. I tweeted DJI and they just replied saying they didn't submit the app to the IOS App store until yesterday, so it might be a while before Apple approves the app.

Update of existing app is usually quickly approved.

DJI is not stupid, there are more iOS users than Android in the higher end users so they are not going to shoot themselves in the foot. There probably were some features that were added last minute that caused the delay.

And thanks for removing the extra characters in your headline. Makes for a more professional post which we all appreciate

Please be advised that the DJI Go 4.0 has been released for iOS just recently.
