so does the Mavic have some type of haptic feedback for wind ? or some message will popup on the screen with a high wind warning ?i was in some good winds today and never recevied any meesage or warning i cant find a setting for this feature.

has anyone ever got anything related to this or maybe a setting i need to turn on ? any info would be helpfull

I don't have my Mavic yet but I did read somewhere that it alerts you in high winds (seem to remember that the controller vibrates or something)

Yes a warning will appear on screen when there are high winds. If you didn't receive a warning then the Mavic was probably handling them fine

I wish there was some video on seeing this warning I can't find any info on it.   I was in 23 mph winds with some stronger gusts today.
No message or alerts.

The wind warning is based on motor loading .. I believe)... I have seen this posted and saw Casey N talking about it on his pre-release Mavic kit .. Blog video





For me the winds have been gusting to 25 mph and I did not get this warning on my Mavic

I bought this drone specifically for kiteboarding. So far I've flown it in 16mph wind and the Mavic handled it like a breeze. I still haven't gotten good footage but will be loading some hopefully soon!
