I can connect to the wifi signal on my phantom 4k, but when I try to open the dji go app, all I get is the "how to connect" button, no option to enter camera view. Anyone have a trick to get it working? I'm using the latest android. The phantom and the rc communicate ok. I do see a "camera" button on the inspire 1, but if I click it, it says disconnected. I tried uninstalling go, rebooting, and reinstalling. help?

So you're saying you're connected to the wifi network that phantom creates, but when you launch the app it's not recognizing that you're connected to the phantom? If I got that right, try rebinding the remote and phantom together. You could also try forgetting the network on your device and re-connecting to it. Are you able to take off with it? You can fly the phantom without the app

Yeah, I can fly the phantom without the app. It it also looks like rebinding the remote can only be done with the app - which I can't connect to. :/ Tried forgetting the wifi and re-connecting. Still getting the wifi connection, but no app connection. Any other

May I know what the model and system version of your android phone? You have installed the latest APP, right?
It never works since you bought it?
Have about the firmware version of your aircraft?
Please try different mobile device to check the performance.

Having a very similar problem.

Please provide us the information mentioned 5#, we'd love to help you handle it.

If you have downloaded Litchi onto the same phone (if thats what your using a phone) uninstall litchi and reboot your phone. and try to connect again. This was my very first problem with the phantom 4 standard. It connected the first time i tried after that. Oh and the phone file debugger must be turned on. If that doesn't work and you use Litchi for something else you can always re-download litchi. (My phone is a Galaxy s5)

I'm using Android 7.0 on a Google Nexus 5x. I have the latest DJI Go app (not Go 4).
It has not worked since I bought it. I don't know the firmware since I can't connect with the app.
Tried a couple devices but one couldn't see the phantom wifi at all (One Plus running Android 6.0.1 Cyanogen 13.1.2) and the other could connect to the wifi, but I couldn't get the app loaded. I'll try a friend's devise tomorrow.

Maybe try uninstall your current DJI Go app and download version 2.9.1 install and try.

I get this occasionally, I have to go to my wifi settings and tell it to forget the Phantom network. Then reconnect to it entering the password. 12341234. Then I go back to DJI app all works fine.

What Go app version are you running? Did you notice this after an app or firmware update?

Interesting, I have now tried three android devices all with different hardware and os version. One works, one can't see the wifi signal, one says it connect to the wifi but not in the app. So its not entirely the phantom, but it seems mileage may vary.
