Update: Mavic Combo Orders from 12.10. seem to be shipping!


If yes: I'm excited and frightened all at the same time due to the issues other people described here, I'm even thinking about selling it again which is kinda sad after waiting almost 2 months for it

Why dont you contact DHL? Seems more logical...

Don't be frightened just read the manual and get used to where everything is and have your first flight in a open area and take it easy. I hope it's your mavic

Why be scared and sell it?   Simply make sure it is calibrated.  The problems I am seeing appear to be mostly improper stick calibration that was performed at DJI.  Just make sure that you are absolutely sure everything is properly calibrated (sticks being the most important) before flying.

Why would you sell it? Seems like most issues have/are being ironed out

At the risk of repeating what people have already said to you... don't be scared, just make the wait worthwhile.   Yes it may be another 2 months before you are soaring the high skys up and over mountains... but at least if you take things slow, read the manual and be careful, you wont have to wait EVEN longer when you have to send the drone back from crashing it.  Granted there seems to be some 'issues' with some drones but I think the forum makes it look like there is a high proportion.  The old analogy... if people aren't happy they will come on here to complain.  If you are happy, you are too busy having fun and flying the drone to care about coming on here.
