Anyone else having trouble.   System just says S/N timeout.  I contacted support and they really couldn't do anything for me.

Same here. Contacted support and was told to email the DJI care team. Still haven't heard back from them.

Its funny you bring this up, I tried to buy the OSMO+ Shield but had a similar problem. This was Oct 18 I sent the first support request and I was told they would look into it. I didnt hear anything so I sent a followup on Nov 3rd still nothing, then again on Nov 23rd still nothing. Finally heard back Today and the only thing they said was sorry it took so long to get back to you, but since its been so long we might close the ticket. Not even an ok we fixed it try again, just nothing. They must just be buried under tickets at DJI for support to take that long. So I wouldnt hold your breath to get a reply within 48 hours.

My DGI care came in the email and is serial numbered and married to the serial number of the unit and the gimbal serial number, NOTtransferable OR refundable unless you retuned for refund the unit too. Enjoy reading almost four pages long of stuff. For $99  in hindsight I probably would've bought another  battery.

it is good peace of mine if you accidentally crash a 1000.00 unit.  

The problem has been solved, and you can purchase DJI care refresh now.
