Just got my P4 Pro in the mail today.  I have a P4 as well so I know the following is not normal:  Turned the P4 Pro on and the fan is super loud.  As if it has a bad bearing or vibrating against the case of the craft.  Also, when tilting the drone for compass calibration, the Gimbal makes a metal to metal grinding or rubbing sound.  Anyone have the same issue(s)?

LOL yep.  Sounds horrible but seems to be normal.  

You should have heard the gimbal when I did the Advanced VPS Calibration with DJI Assistant 2.  The gimbal sounds like gears stripping or something awful.  It's all fine though.

I think this gimbal is always self-leveling.  It's apparent in my videos I've seen on my 4k TV (I'm only shooting HEVC).  So maybe that's why it's louder.
