I have my X5 from my Inspire 1 Pro and recently bought  a Osmo to use with it. Bought the adapter and have attempted likely no lie, 10 batteries worth of attempts to get it to download. I was making progress but now it's gone the other way.
The X5 doesn't register on the app as being an X5, it shows just Inspire 1 or Osmo on the app as if the X3 is on there. But the gimbal works and I have full control of the camera via the screen or Osmo joystick. No picture though.

Previously I was able to get picture through to the phone screen. That is no longer happening and looking at the log files say something consistently, whether I try to update the via the Inspire Pro (with Inspire Pro firmware) or the Osmo (with Osmo Pro firmware).

Here is the last try with Inspire Pro firmware. Notice the [01 04][00] device not detected, reset device. Not sure on how to reset the camera. Any help would be appreciated, I just want to use the X5 on my Osmo. Shouldn't be this dang hard.

I'm with you on this one. I have been able to upload the latest firmware but no live feed.

X5 works on my Inspire and the X3 works with and without the X5 adapter on the Osmo.

Have been in contact with DJI a few times on the issue....no luck. I have been told that they are sending my issue to their Tech support team......have not heard from them in a few weeks.

Not sure what to say about this. I hope there is something that I can do.

Figured mine out at least. I believe the issue with getting the "[01 04] Device not detected" was due to the lens not detecting. I took the lens off and reseated it and then the X5 downloaded fine to the Inspire and then the Osmo worked fine as well! May want to give that a shot.
