Sorry for all the questions, but is manual when you control it or is another mode i dont know about?

GPS = Full stabilization and position hold.

ATTI = Full stabilization without position hold.  Effectively turns off GPS for positioning and allows it to drift, but will hold altitude and attitude.  Gains are increased as well.

Manual = No stabilization or GPS hold meaning you are in full control.  Basically you MUST know how to fly.  Very easy to lose control, but allows you to do almost anything including flips and rolls,,,, and crash....  If you find yourself in trouble in manual, you can switch back to GPS and it should recover.
