I have a Problem with my Phantom 4 Pro time stamping my pictures and videos with a time stamp 14 Hours behind the actual time it is in my time zone.
Has anyone other than me come across this problem.  I have tried everything I know to update the time in the controller but I have had no luck.  I would appreciate it if someone could let me know how to fix this problem.

The only thing I can think of trying, would be to sync your flights to save them, and then reinstall the app.

All times in the Phantom come from GPS.
Are you outdoors and with GPS satellite connection when this is happening?

It happens All the time.  Indoors and outdoors.  I recalibrated the IMU's and still the same problem.  I have been flying a Phantom 4 and I never had this problem.  I even tried using the Phantom 4 on the New DJI Go 4 app and it still gives me the correct time stamp on the photos and Videos.  But the P4P always gives a time stamp 14 hours behind my time zone.  I looked up the time zone that is 14 hours before my time and it is Malaysia.

I did not know the Phantom 4 could time stamp items.  Can someone tell me how to do this?

May I know how you checked the time stamp? from the properties of pictures and videos? Would you please post a screenshot here?

I too have the same issue for both photos and video. All devices show correct time, running latest firmware on P4P, but photos / videos taken at 9:00 pm Pacific have time stamps of 6:00 am. Date is correct. This time stamp on the photo/movie file are displayed in Finder on MacBook Pro with OSX. Time on my iPad Mini 4 that runs Go 4 app is correct as well as the date/time on my MB Pro.

I am getting the same thing on a new P4P that just came two days ago. I am eastern standard time US and a photo taken today at 5:02 pm was time stamped 3:02 am. Using an iPhone 7 running IOS 10.2. Screen shot of file info attached, maybe...

Add one more to having this issue - I am using a P4P+, in Pacific time zone - mine are 17 hours behind, the time settings on the RC are correct.

I just realized I have the same problem. All my video and photo is gmt-9 instead of UK gmt-0. I try it on iPhone and iPad air 2, and reinstall the dji go 4 and now I am trying to downgrade... let see

For everyone having this issue, what microSD card are you using?
Strange as it may seem, the issue only shows up with some large SD cards.
If you want the date to be correct, use the original SD card.

Okay I have try downgrade restore to factory setting and, so I found out FAT32 will show the correct time, exFAT will be 9 hours behind(for me), denfinilty a bug, please fix it DJI. It only start happening two days ago to me all my pervious footage so correct time stamp.

Good Catch...... Good info that is going to save me some frustrations {:4_157:} once my P4P gets here..  

I'm getting time stamp on photos correct, but videos get time stamped to the correct day+month, but with the year 1950.

128GB ExFAT gets incorrect time stamp. Same 128GB SD card with FAT32 gets CORRECT timestamp.

I have this as well. 1950. Very strange.

I have the exact same problem but only for videos, DNGs show correct date and I've seen nowhere the "1950" year stamped. Just video date is skewed back into the past with 8 hours.

In my case it seems random.

iPad 9.7 pro Wi-Fi/cell

Picturs shoot with RAW+JPG, but RAW is 8 houres behind ex. for one  

One mp4 is right
One DNG is right
All JPG is right

Rest 8 hours behind

1. whether the issue will be met when you use the original MicroSD(16GB)?
2. which capacity MicroSD  you used?

if you have met this issue just when you used the large capacity MicroSD(>32GB), you can upgrade the firmware later, this issue have been resolved.Thanks for your feedback.

The original MicroSD is ok, the problem is with 64GB card.

I have same problem with P4P Videos. When I import in Lightroom videos were copied to folder 1950  (now 1951 already). I have not paid big attention to photo time stamp but year and date for photos are correct.

Yes I have latest Firmware on Aircraft / Remote and DJI GO 4

It is fixed on the latest firmware.

I am using one that came with drone and another Sandisk Extreme Pro but no result. Even after firmware upgrade Lightroom copies to folder 1951

How large is the SD card? Is it smaller or larger than 32 GB?

It seems to have been resolved in the latest firmware... I am using a 64GB MicroSD and no more timestamp problems... NICE DJI
