Sorry for late reply only saw your post today. It's approx 2 km but I'm in the middle (area circled blue) you can see me on video at about 1:05 controlling the drone

Very excellent and looks beautiful at 1080p
I have shot videos with the Spark and was really impressed with some of the videos shot at 1080p
Sometimes, you are in the right place and the right time and things seem to fall into place for some great creativity.
