The subject title says it all. Should Phantom 4 (old non-pro version) users upgrade to DJI GO 4.0?

I tried version 4 and it was very slow, clunky and unresponsive so I uninstalled it and went back to version 3.1, which seems to offer the same features.

I'm on 4 here (not flight tested yet) but seems to work well on iPad Pro 9.7 & iPhone 6S+.

Remember it is a different beast from 3.1.1 , not an upgrade so you can have both on your machine and try each one.

I am using it on my Samsung galaxy Tab A and works perfect, better than it did with the original DJI GO. No problems at all

Phantom support both DJI GO 4 and the previous APP version, just as Aardvark said, you can install two different versions in your mobile device.
Please note that, if it not working properly with two APPs installed, you need unplug the USB cable, then go to settings-->Applications-->Application Manager, choose DJI GO 4, and set it as default. If you need use the previous APP, please do the same thing, clear defaults and set the old one as default.

Well it's not there yet, maybe 4.0.1 ?

I used the GO 4 app on my P4 on Friday and it flew perfectly, not a glitch. sport mode was good, p mode good, didn't try atti mode or RTH function. every thing very stable.

The "Flight Review" part of GO 4 didn't work for me.  That screen only partially loads and freezes the app.  Back to 3.1.1 with the P4.

I'm using 4.0 and I like it.

I installed dji go 4 from the beginning. Got the drone for Christmas. The app works fine on iPhone, I did all initial setup and upgrade, I fly nicely and don't see any disabled  options. It flies well and doesn't feel like something is amiss.

just notice that is new apps, will try this out and provide feedback on this.

While the initial P4 is present on both apps, the Phantom 4 would receive future updates through the DJI Go4 app.

DJIGO4 is all Ihave ever known. I have never used the go because when Igot my drone that's all there was for Phantom 4 . So far, no problems at all. I'm using an iPad Air & everything  seems 2B running gr8.   I couldn't be happier

I'm using DJI GO 4 when I bought the Phantom 4 at 24 december 2016 and works very fine without any problems.

Im using DJI GO 4 have done right from out of the box since christmas on an ipad air firmware update on both controller and bird.No issues for me.Touch wood

I've tried both really like the interface on 4.0. But after a week using it no problems at all. Then all of a sudden all my Android devices started crashing on loading.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A as well, when I installed DJI Go 4 all seemed to work well except for it was either POI mode or Waypoints mode (I forget which one). When I tried 1 of the 2 the app kept crashing or maybe it was the tablet kept rebooting. What a great memory I have huh? Anyways has this happened to you as well? I went back to DJI Go 3 and all seems well again.
